He was predeceased by: his stepdaughters, Theresa M. Zak, Anita M. Gadbois, Lorie A. Gadbois and Karon M. Gadbois; his siblings, Phyllis Hedge, Arline Brenner, Joseph, Dean, Frank, Ernest, George Gerald and Paul Carey; and his parents, Francis Carey and Elizabeth Carey (Bostwick).
He is survived by: his wife Alice L. Carey (Galipeau); his children, Tammey L. Carey of Worcester, Ronald F. Carey, Jr. (Debra) of Brookfield, Paul C. Carey (Tina) of Millbury and Ernest W. Carey (Jennifer) of Worcester; his stepdaughters, Susan A. Welch of Winston Salem, NC and Debra Carey (Ronald) of Brookfield; his sister Sharon Rivelli (James) of Leicester; and his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Carey of Spencer and Evelyn Carey of Canada. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
