He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Sr. Medeiros and Irene Medeiros (Joaquin). He is survived by: his children, Elissa Medeiros Steele (Cristian G. DeCroce), Laura Tafel Medeiros Steele (John Esposito) and Michael Medeiros (Jessie McCormick); his granddaughter Lyra Medeiros Esposito Steele; his sister Kathleen (Michael Brennan) of Fairhaven; and his nephews, Brent and Scott Stewart of Connecticut.
