She was predeceased by : her parents, John B. Mulligan and Anne Marie Young Mulligan of Canaan; her husband Albert L. Melle Jr.; and her nephew James E. Terry III. She is survived by : her siblings, Maureen Hammel (Lee) of Lenox and John B. Mulligan (Patricia) of Averill Park; her siblings-in-law, Theresa Michney (Mitch) of Austerlitz and James Terry (Nancy) of West Stockbridge; her nieces and nephews, Adrienne Hammel, Ian A. Hammel (Christine), Sean Mulligan (Jill), D. Grice Mulligan (Mina), Kathleen Slyer (John), Ronald Regan, Richard Mulligan, Ruth Lopez (Alfonso), Christine Sotek (Jeff) and Holly Terry; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Mya, Alex, Jordan, Connor, Ronald, Erin, Julia, Caroline H., Ruby, Will, Caroline S., Maria, Lillian, John, Andrew, Caitlyn, Cara, Carson, Cassidy, Christin, Erika, Laura, Brian and Bennett.
