With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marie Ponyta in Leominster, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Marie left this world on December 5, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Francis M. Ponyta; her siblings, Robert Hamel, Janet Langlois and Frances Turcotte; and her parents, William Hamel and Jeanette Hamel (Bernier).
She is survived by: her children, Tracey Lowe (Dave) and Michael Ponyta (Elaine Tousignant); her grandchildren, Sidney, Cameron, Dillan, Michael and Stephanie (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Norman, Margo and Jeremiah; and her grandchild Adry Hartman. She is also survived by extended family and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home (176 Water St, Clinton, MA 01510). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. John's Cemetery (260 Cambridge St, Worcester, MA 01603).
