With sadness, we share the passing of Cheryl L. Howland of Leverett, Massachusetts. Cheryl, born on November 24, 1951, passed away on July 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Cheryl for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Cheryl’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norma Howland and Charles Howland. She is survived by: her sister Deborah Howland-Tolla of Beverly, MA; and her wife Eva. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and in-laws.
In response to the pandemic, the effort was expanded into the Great Plant Giveaway, with a multitude of volunteers joining the effort.
