Charles E. Woodward Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2026, Charles E. Woodward of Lexington, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Charles farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Charles is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elvin Woodward and Rose Woodward; his wife Jeanne Woodward (Palm); his children, Catherine Woodward Gill (Mark Tully) of Lexington and Nathan Woodward (Mary Woodward) of Georgia, Vermont.; and his grandchildren, Danny, Matt, Sarah Gill, Sophie Woodward and Courtney.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Paul Lutheran Church (929 Concord Turnpike, Arlington, MA 02476).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Lutheran World Relief, Oxfam, or Doctors Without Borders.
