He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Buckler Markovitz and Jack Markovitz; and his son Mordechai (Marlaina Kreinin). He is survived by: his children, Netana and Raviv Markovitz; his wife Elana Kreinin Markovitz; his granddaughter Arielle Markovitz; his daughter-in-law Michal Latzer; his nieces and nephews, Noa, Lyla, Jake, Zev and Alexandra; his siblings, Sherry Markovitz, Merilyn Salomon, Rhoda and Michael; and his siblings-in-law, Miriam, David Souccar, Tamara Kreinin and Rosalind Hinton.

Those who wish may make memorial contributions, in Dennis' memory, to the Parkinson's Foundation (https://www.parkinson.org), Temple Emunah in Lexington, or the Israeli Children's Fund.
