We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2025, Eleanor M. Amodeo of Lexington, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Eleanor farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Eleanor is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gerald Amodeo and Eleanor N. Amodeo (Bacci); and her sisters, Katherine A. Amodeo of Lexington and Donna J. Amodeo of Lexington.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Douglass Funeral Home (51 Worthen Rd, Lexington, MA 02421). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Funeral Douglass Funeral Home (51 Worthen Rd, Lexington, MA 02421). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (16 Follen Rd, Lexington, MA 02421).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Diabetes Association or Parkinson's Foundation in memory of Eleanor Amodeo.
