James W. Fraser Obituary

The memory of James W. Fraser of Lexington, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 6, 2025 at the age of 96, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Fraser Sr. and Gertrude Heins; and his brothers, Donald Fraser (Simone) and Clark Fraser (Stella). He is survived by: his sister Trudy Pelligrini; his wife Mary "Smoki" Rollins Fraser; his daughters, Shawna Johnston (Brian) of Lexington, MA, Ina Williams (Rick) of Boylston, MA and Rena Maliszewski (Jan) of Lexington, MA.; his grandchildren, Ariana (Andrew), Bradley, Megan (Greg), Austin, Olivia and James; and his great grandchildren, Izzy, Damien, Tyler and Grace. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Lexington United Methodist Church (2600 Massachusetts Ave, Lexington, MA 02421). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jim's memory to the Tomaquag Museum at https://www.tomaquagmuseum.org or Hancock Congregational Church where the family is currently members at https://hancockchurch.org.
