He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Grace Redmond; his children, James J. Redmond Jr. (Jennine Redmond), Jeannie M. Redmond (James M. McLaughlin) and Joanne M. Mello (William P. Mello); his grandchildren, Megan L. Petrucelli, Jessica Sullivan, William P. Mello Jr., Gina Robinson, Anthony Mello, Maria Redmond, Sienna Redmond, James G. Redmond and Talia Redmond; and his close friends, Diesel and Axel. He was also cherished by 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Lexington Firefighter Relief Association at 45 Bedford St., Lexington, MA 02420, in honor of Jim's 42 years of dedicated service to the community.
