He was predeceased by: his parents, Irish and Margaret McWeeney (Kelley); his siblings, Gerard McWeeney (Nancy) and Claire Hogarty (Edward); and his sister-in-law Skyp Low.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn L. McWeeney (Nugent); his children, John Jr. (late Margo Gibson) of Brooklyn, NY, David (Lori) of Medfield, MA, Andrew (Katie) of Nashua, NH and Susan (William Newsham) of Acton, MA.; his grandchildren, Declan, Severine McQueeney, Nora, William Newsham, Isabel and Teagan McWeeney; his sister Margo McWeeney; and his sisters-in-law, Janet Nugent and Barbara Riley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
