He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Murgo and Emily Murgo (Miele); his brothers, Guy and Leonard; his siblings-in-law, Zita, Lucy and John Connors; his parents-in-law, Peter and Julia Toomasian; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Coen and J. Robert Coen.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Murgo (Toomasian); his sons, Joseph C. Murgo, Richard P. Murgo (Laura) and Justin A. Murgo (Michelle); his grandchildren, Marissa, Gabrielle, Joseph, Andrew, Christopher, Arianna and Juliana Murgo; his siblings, Angelo Murgo (Rosemary) of Delray Beach and Mary Connors of Beverly; and his sister-in-law Eileen Nichols (Robert) of Framingham. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
