He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Ernst and Jeanne Ernst (Bowen). He is survived by: his wife Karen K. Ernst (Ings); his children, Jonathan Ernst (Julie) and Winifred of Lowell, MA.; and his siblings, Deborah Neville and Butch Ernst.
