Lores Gilfix Obituary

We announce the death of Lores Gilfix of Lexington, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 9, 2026. Lores will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Edward Gilfix; her daughter Katherine; her sister Aimee; and her niece Ellen. She is survived by: her sons, David (Sharyn) and Daniel (Florence); her grandchildren, Miryam, Eliana, Hannah (Andrew Plata) and Elliot (Julia Garleb); her great grandchild Maya; her parents, Hannah and Andrew; her niece Meg (Ed's); her husband Bob Chase; and her nephew Fred.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts in memory of Lolly be made to Good Shepherd Community Care, which provided Lolly and her family with compassionate and exceptional end-of-life care and support.
