He is survived by: his children, Christopher Young of Cambridge, Pamela Young Lietar (Paul) of Providence and Amy Young (Paul Merewether) of Spring Lake, Michigan; his grandchildren, Thomas Lietar and Audrey Lietar; his great grandchild Nora Young Lietar; and his partner Shirley Bayle.
He served in numerous leadership roles within ACTEC, including Past Regent and advisor to the drafting committee for the Uniform Statutory Rule Against Perpetuities and Director of the ACTEC Foundation.
