He was predeceased by: his parents, Lau Mee Yan and Ho Yuk Chung; and his siblings, Kenson, Dickson, Kungshun and Ellie.
He is survived by: his wife Roslyn (Alleyne); his children, David, Jennifer Manning (Gene), Suzanne (Tom Shiple) and Stanley; his grandchildren, Caleb, Eric, Claire (Shiple), Allison and Lauren (Manning); and his siblings, Faline, Doson, Annie, Chosen, Season, Jackson and Hoson Lau.
In Lexington, Samson generously volunteered his sewing skills for the Lexington 300th Anniversary, William Diamond Junior Fife and Drum Corps, Days for Girls, Lexington United Soccer Club, costumes for school plays, fleece blankets, scarves and hats for MLK day and Bristol Lodge, alterations for prom dresses and making fabric masks during the pandemic.
