With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sungyul Kim of Lexington, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 25, 2024. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sungyul Kim to pay them a last tribute.

As we bid Sungyul farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Sungyul is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He is survived by : his wife Betty Kim (Yoo); his children, Nancy Kim (Peter Lee) of Lexington, Steven Kim (Kari Molvar) of Old Greenwich, CT and Caroline Kim of Arverne, NY.; his sibling Kyung-Ryul Kim of Seoul, Korea.; and his grandchildren, Justin, Theo, Chloe and Jemma. He is also survived by 1 niece and 2 nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. John's Korean United Methodist Church (2600 Massachusetts Ave, Lexington, MA 02421). A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Donations in his memory may be made to Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.
