He was predeceased by: his father Paul Phelan; and his grandson Ethan. He is survived by: his mother Mary Phelan; his wife Jean Belcik; his children, Christina (Allan), John-Paul (Stephanie), Corinne (Tom) and Carolyn (Elio); his siblings, Tom, Paul, Rob, Bill and Jean; and his grandchildren, Lucas, Chase, Jason, Adrian, Sofia and Leo.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Hunt of a Lifetime Foundation in Tim's name.
