It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Waleska Evans James of Lexington, Massachusetts, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Dr. Theodore Schneeloch Evans and Waleska Bacon Evans; and her husband Hamilton R. James. She is survived by : her sons, Hamilton E. of New York, NY, David R. of South Reading, VT, Benjamin B. of Concord, MA and Michael T. of Haverford, PA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Parish (4 Bedford Rd, Lincoln, MA 01773).
