He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Lahnstein and Margaret Lahnstein (Lennon); his sister Margaret "Peggy" Domenichella; his brother-in-law Frank A. Domenichella, Jr.; and his nephew Stephen Domenichella.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Geneva Smithlin of Lexington; his nephews, Frank A. Domenichella, III (Bea) of Leominster and Paul Domenichella (Jeanne) of Arlington; and his niece Mary O'Halloran (Chuck) of Fitchburg. He is also survived by four great nieces, one great nephew and one great-great niece.
