He is survived by: his wife Lata Apte; his daughter Pallavi Apte Badkar (Advait Badkar); his grandchildren, Anoushka and Aaroosh Badkar; his brother Arun Apte; his sister-in-law Nilima Apte; his niece Gauri Apte Kumar (Rishab Kumar); his pets, Millie and Mia; Tanay Apte Kumar.
