With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eldon B Tobey of Longmeadow, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 1, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond E. Tobey and Mabel Tobey (Garton); his granddaughter Molly L. McKenna; his siblings-in-law, Dr. John Dittmer, Maureen Finn Bessette and Paul Bessette; and his niece Jodi Bessette.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Tobey (Finn) of Longmeadow; his daughter Mary Ellen Tobey McKenna (Timothy) of Longmeadow; his granddaughter Catherine McKenna of Longmeadow; his sister-in-law Mary Finn Dillon (Dan) of Peterborough, NH; his nephew Jack Dillon; his sister-in-law Lauren Kellogg Finn of Springfield, MA; his sister Ellen Dittmer of Greencastle, Indiana; his nephew David Dittmer (Marie); and his niece Julie Hutchinson (George). He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
