He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Herberger and Rose Herberger (Molinari); his stepfather Theodore Frentzos; and his brother Richard Herberger. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary B. Herberger (Hurley) of Longmeadow; his sons, Christopher J. Herberger (Meghan) of Agawam and Joseph H. Herberger of Boston; his sister Linda R. Ciocca (Rolly) of East Longmeadow; his sister-in-law Joan W. Herberger; his stepsister Denise Reed (Douglas) of Westfield; his brothers-in-law, William J. Hurley (Ann) and Thomas J. Hurley (Sheila) of Wilbraham; and his nieces and nephews, Nicole, Chris, John, Dan, Greg, Sara, Megan and Katie.
