William A. Harbison Obituary
The memory of William A. Harbison (Longmeadow, Massachusetts), who passed away on February 20, 2026 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick "Fizz" Harbison and Josephine Harbison; and his brothers, Ralph and Henry. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Harbison (Garbisch); his children, Heidi Harbison Kimberly (W. Taylor Kimberly), Chris Harbison (Amy Harbison) and Rick Harbison (Heidi Walls); and his grandchildren, Elsa, Erika, Clara, Cliff, Evelyn, Jane, Henry, Willa and Hannah. He is also survived by his cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Church of Christ (763 Longmeadow St, Longmeadow, MA 01106).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Dr. William Harbison to the Adirondack Land Trust, Baystate Health Foundation, the First Church of Christ in Longmeadow, the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, Valley Classical Concerts, or Volunteers in Medicine.
