We are sad to announce that on March 9, 2025, Arthur Tingas of Lowell, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Arthur departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Arthur may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Arthur leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Socratis S. Tingas and Vasiliki "Kiki" Tingas (Cocalis). He is survived by: his cousin Kostas Cocalis; and his siblings, Stefanos Tingas (Penny) of North Carolina and Nancy Bhatia (Indru) of California. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

“So very sorry for your loss, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Some of my fondest memories are going to the Olympia and seeing Arthur with his parents and aunts who were always busy and Theo and Bob at the to-go counter. It was a place my family treasured and we always had a great meal. We will never forget his generosity when in the early 80's Arthur would rent out the hall to all of our Belvedere friends for Halloween parties. He will be missed. Stephen Crowley..”
