Charles Farrell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Farrell of Lowell, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 28, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Charles may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his wife Thelma Farrell (Doescher); his close friend Doreen McCullough (Boon); his parents, Charles Farrell and Suzanne Farrell (Samuel); and his siblings, James Farrell and Patricia Keefer.
He is survived by: his children, Charles J. Farrell, Jr. of Webster and Linda Jantzen of Rochester; his sister Jane Denton of Colorado; and his niece Kathy Schneider (Mark) of Rochester. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Cemetery (90 River Rd, Tewksbury, MA 01876).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in his name to The Jimmy Fund at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
