Claire C. Lavoie Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Claire C. Lavoie of Lowell, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 25, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph D. "Larry" Lavoie; her parents, Arthur Dumais and Josephine Dumais (Matte); her daughter Suzanne Boulanger; her siblings, Jacqueline Brouillette and Gerald Dumais; and her children-in-law, Robert Boulanger and Jane Lavoie.
She is survived by: her children, Normand Lavoie (Ginette) of Merrimac, MA, Ronald Lavoie (Sue Duarte) of Dracut, Marc Lavoie of Lowell and Dianne Roy (Michael) of Lowell; her grandchildren, Brad, Jacque, Craig Lavoie, Jonathan, Daniel Lavoie, Danielle Richard (Michael), Michelle Wasik (Tom), Eric Roy (Natalia Caron), Lisa Vaillancourt and Claude Vaillancourt (Pam); and her great grandchildren, Nicholas, Tommy, Henry, Noelle, Elliot and Sammy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laurin Funeral Home (295 Pawtucket St, Lowell, MA 01854). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Church (1340 Lakeview Ave, Dracut, MA 01826). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (96 Riverneck Rd, Chelmsford, MA 01824).
