She was predeceased by: her husband Donald F. McHugh; her parents, Arthur Donovan and Mary Donovan (Sweeney); and her siblings, James Donovan (Betty), Helen Downey (Richard), Bea Grover (Fred), Arthur Donovan, Mary Gagne (Robert) and John Donovan.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Underwood (Bernard) of Dracut, Robert McHugh of Lowell, Joseph McHugh of Lowell and Paula Ryan (Robert) of Hudson, NH; her grandchildren, Michael Underwood of Lowell, Jennifer Kinsella (Benjamin) of Dracut, Keith McCarthy (Kaylin Weber) of Madison, WI, Benjamin McCarthy (Casey) of Hudson, NH, Lily and Brinna McHugh of Lowell; her great grandchildren, Emily Claire Sweeney, Josephine, Cecelia Kinsella and Carter McCarthy; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Donovan and Jeannine Donovan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
