He was predeceased by: his parents, Linda Jones (Wilcox) and John Jones. He is survived by: his son David Jones Jr. (Sara Trova); and his siblings, Eddie Jones (Gail) and Kathy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to "Peak Wrestling Club" which is a local youth wrestling club in Lanesborough.
