It is with sadness that the passing of Dolores A. Szablak (Lowell, Massachusetts) is shared. Dolores, born on June 11, 1928, passed away on September 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Chester J. Szablak, Sr.; her parents, Stephen Berke and Sophia Berke (Tomkiewicz); her sisters, Anne (Albert Roy), Helen (Al Bilewicz) and Barbara Wilcox; and her friend Dottie Kubit.
She is survived by: her children, Chester J. Szablak, Jr. (Linda (Goyette)) of Tyngsboro, Stephen Szablak (Pamela (Campbell)) of Lowell and Susan Szablak of Lowell; her grandchildren, Lauren Clark (Dan), Michael Szablak (Kate), Amy Orlando (Mike), James Szablak (Kristina) and Anne Szablak (Luke Zanoli); her brother-in-law Robert Wilcox; and her friend Jackie Hart. She is also survived by her seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home (327 Hildreth St, Lowell, MA 01850). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Church (12 6th St, Lowell, MA 01850). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at the Holy Trinity Polish Cemetery (165 Boston Rd, Lowell, MA 01852).
