He is survived by: his wife Pauline Pitta (Dube); his children, Edward "Skip" Pitta (Diane) of Dracut, Paula Daigle of Londonderry, NH and Steven Pitta (Darcie) of Lowell; his grandchildren, Tim Pitta (Ylan) of Andover, Brian Pitta (Courtney) of Dracut, Matt Pitta (Emma) of Boston, Wendy Foote of Hudson, NH and Kelly Gordon of Londonderry, NH.; his great grandchildren, Cole, Austin, Noelle, Nora, April Pitta, Emily, Paul Greenwood, Michael Delmore and Alyson Dionne; his great great grandchildren, David and Eileen Donovan; his sister Caroline Young of Andover; and his close friend Paul Demers of Dracut. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
