She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard J. Nelson, Sr.; and her mother Jennie Spadea. She is survived by: her children, Leonard J. Nelson, Jr. (Claudette) of Lowell, Stephen Nelson (Lori) of Pelham, Joanne Colon (Ariel) of Lowell, Pamela Scanlon (Frank) of Lowell and Kimberly Nelson (Stephen Barter) of Lowell; her grandchildren, Christopher Colon (Carol), Anthony Colon, Richard Mignone Jr. (Alyssa Sughrue), Paige Scanlon, Nicole, Krystyna and Cody Nelson; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Mila, Hunter, Landon, Maddex and Jayce; her brother Robert Spadea of Maine; and her niece Patricia Shirley of Lowell.
