He was predeceased by: his parents, José Aguiar and Maria Aguiar (Roposa); his grandson Robert Aguiar-Doyle; his siblings, Eduardo Aguiar (Manuela), Antonio Aguiar (Marianna) and Emelia Medeiros; his siblings-in-law, Lawrence Angove, Judith Baril, Donna and Andrew Gagne; and his parents-in-law, Joseph and Edna Baril.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine L. Aguiar (Baril); his sons, Bernard Aguiar of Dracut, Paul Aguiar (Christine Marson) of Methuen and Robert Aguiar (Keri Radzik) of Lowell; his grandchildren, Corina Aguiar of Lowell, Marissa Brooke (Spencer) of Alton, NH, David Aguiar (Victoria Hernandez) of Goffstown, NH, Dylan Aguiar (Elizabeth) of Sevierville, TN, Nathan of Lowell, Michael of Lowell, Sylvia of Lowell, Alex of Lowell, Tyler of Lowell and Isabella Aguiar of Lowell; his great grandchildren, McKenna Torgerson, Maverick Torgerson, Mia Aguiar, Amarii Aguiar, Winston Aguiar and Scarlett Aguiar; and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Angove and Joe Baril. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McDonough Funeral Home (14 Highland St, Lowell, MA 01852). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A procession will be held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at the Saint Joseph Cemetery (96 Riverneck Rd, Chelmsford, MA 01824).
