With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James L. Boenis of Lowell, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 31, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Boenis and Tessie Boenis (Makris); and his wife Maureen Boenis (Kinnon). He is survived by: his daughter Alexandra Nyberg (Kevin); his granddaughters, Emily and Sarah; his son Gregory Boenis; his stepsons, Ralph Martinese (Maureen), Christopher Martinese and Adam Martinese; his sister Frances Boenis Depontbriand; his niece Jessica DePontbriand; and his sister Lily. He is also survived by many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and step grandchildren.

IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, memorial donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church 62 Lewis Street Lowell, Ma. 01854.
