The passing of Joan Ryan of Lowell, Massachusetts leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 22, 2025 at the age of 90. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter F. Kierce and Winifred "Mae" Kierce (Flannery); her siblings, Patricia Riley, Mary Callery and Gerald Kierce; and her friend Phil Donahue.
She is survived by: her sons, Paul W. Ryan (Bart) and Bill; her nephew Mike Durkin (Karen Clark) of Chelmsford, MA.; her son William Ryan of Harwich, MA; her granddaughter Brianna Joy Ryan of San Diego, CA; and her brother Ronald Kierce (Betty Potvin) of Dennis, MA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and their spouses and children.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests consideration of a contribution to the Paul W. Ryan Memorial Scholarship Fund at the University of Massachusetts – Amherst.
