He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Resendes and Maria Isabelle Resendes (Majilite); his son Claudio Resendes; and his siblings, Ilbert Resendes, Jose Resendes, Sylvester Resendes, Thomas Resendes and Conceicao Resendes.
He is survived by: his wife Lucia Resendes (Pacheco); and his children, Estrella'Star'Resendes of Lowell, Helena Resendes of Lowell, Natalie Resendes of Fall River, Ricardo Resendes of Portugal, Suseta'Suzy'Resendes (Boston Gonzalez) of Lowell, Joao Resendes of Lowell and Ana Resendes of Lowell. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren, his eight great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
