He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph V. Levasseur and Mildred A. Levasseur (Baxter). He is survived by: his siblings, Joseph Levasseur (Sharon) of Hampstead, NH, James Levasseur (Norma) of Lowell, MA and Joanne McCarron (Timothy) of North Chelmsford, MA.; his siblings' children, Danielle Gile, Shela Lemieux, James Levasseur and Michael Levasseur; and his friend Denise Holt.
