He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Edith Rodrigues (Mikalopas); his wife Lorraine Rodrigues (Lavigne); his daughters, Debra Rufiange (Devincentis) and Kimberly Laorenzo (DeVincentis); his sons-in-law, Joseph Rufiange and Mike Laorenza; his grandchildren, Krystina Gignac, Robert Gignac (Alyssa Gignac), Dylan Harriman and Mitchell Rufiange; his great grandchildren, Ashton Cruz, Kennedy Gignac and Grant Gignac; and his close friend Lucy.

Joe was an extremely generous man who donated to countless charities, including the Wounded Veterans and The Megan House Foundation in Lowell.
