She was predeceased by: her husband John F. Woods, Jr.; her parents, E. Louise Szelest (Bamford) and John Bamford; her brother John Bamford; and her son-in-law Charles Samaras.
She is survived by: her children, John F. "Jack" Woods (Mary) of Nashua, NH, Ellen Jarek (Roger) of Dracut, Karen Samaras and Gretchen Krygowski (Leo) of Lowell; her grandchildren, Thomas Woods (Lauren Cappi), Katherine Chaput (Nate), Haley Jarek, Alexia Samaras (Christopher Fox), Leah Samaras (Ryan Hopkins) and Cody Krygowski (Meghan Richards); and her great grandchildren, Carter, Brinley, Brooklyn and Wesley. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home (327 Hildreth St, Lowell, MA 01850). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Patrick Cemetery (1251 Gorham St, Lowell, MA 01852).
