Maly leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Maly’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She is survived by: her parents, Mann Chan and Sithan Som; her children, Samronney "Ronney" Chan (Anna Gnek) of Lowell, MA, Kyshawn Chan of Danbury, CT and Kyanna Ky of Danbury, CT.; her siblings, Nguon Chan (Louisa) of Lowell, MA, Kimeng Chan of Virginia Beach, VA and Malis Chan of Danbury, CT; and her grandson Ronney Yim Jr. "RJ". She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Glory Buddhist Temple (24 Cambridge St, Lowell, MA 01851). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location.
