Margaret Linscott Obituary

Beloved Mother, Nana, sister and aunt Margaret Elizabeth (Kidder) Linscott, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died December 7, 2016, at her home in Lowell, aged 77 years. She was the beloved wife of the late John P. Linscott Sr., with whom she had celebrated 45 years of marriage at the time of his passing in 2003. Born in Lowell, September 28, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Albert Sr. and Margaret (Knight) Kidder.

She attended Lowell schools. Prior to raising her family - always her number one priority - she worked at several area shoe manufacturers as a stitcher. She enjoyed spending summers at Old Orchard Beach and 'yard saling' with family on Saturdays. Also an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, her favorite players were Brady, Bruschi and Gronkowski.

She was a devoted member of Mass. Baptist Temple, and was founder and leader of the baby nursery for 30 years. Margaret would adopt any neighbor child who needed a "Nana" and she had many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. As Margaret would say, "Look to the Heavens as I watch over you now with much love.

See you down the road, soon to welcome you to my new home with open arms!" She is survived by four children, Patricia Linscott, John Linscott Jr., and Russell Linscott, all of Lowell, and Cheryl Linscott of Sterling; three grandchildren, Jennilee Trevisone of Haverhill, and Christopher Baillargeon and Brandon Baillargeon, both of Sterling, and five great-grandchildren.

A sister, Rita Dufault of Lowell. Also many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was the sister of the late Albert J. Kidder. LINSCOTT - In Lowell, December 7, 2016. Margaret E.
