It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria M. Figueroa of Lowell, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 5, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Maria may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Maria touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Santiago Figueroa and Merguiades Figueroa (Cruz); and her son Enrique Navarro. She is survived by: her sons, Pedro G. Marrero (Margarita) and Santiago Raul Navarro; and her siblings, Santiago and Gloria Figueroa. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
