She is survived by: her siblings, Virginio Tavares of Lowell, Maria De Lurdes Tavares of Lowell, Maria De Jesus Medeiros of Lowell, Trindade Tavares of Lowell and Francisco Brum of Lowell; and her children, Peter McCarthy of Tewksbury, Carlos McCarthy of Tewksbury and Cesar McCarthy of Tewksbury. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
