It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie L. Wakelee (Lowell, Massachusetts), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 25, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Wakelee; her parents, Michael A. Ambrose and Eleanor M. Ambrose (Cerullo); her niece Cheryl Veader; and her sister Elinor Dussault.
She is survived by: her niece Donna Dougherty; her stepchildren, Tom, Terry and Bob Wakelee; her granddaughters, Jessica and Alison; and her sister Dorothy Cantor. She is also survived by three great-nephews, two great-nieces, and 12 grand-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to any non-kill animal shelter.
