He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Wayne (Duffy) and Gerald Wayne; and his aunts and uncles, Francis W. Duffy, Sheila Ann Murphy, James J. Duffy and David M. Wayne.

He is survived by: his son Eric; his brother Eric C. Wayne of Lowell; and his aunts and uncles, Daniel T. Duffy (Eileen) of Lowell, Mary Kandrotas (Steve) of Lowell, Dr. Ellen T. McDonough (John) of Lowell, Judith Wayne of Hampton Beach, NH and Dr. Kevin T. Wayne (Leanne) of Lowell. He is also survived by many cousins and countless friends.
