He was predeceased by: his parents, Cantong Chea and Hov Sek; and his siblings, Yen Chea, Yok Chea, Ha Chea and Chou Tan.

He is survived by: his son Kenny Chea; and his grandchildren, Bunhour Chea and Phallyna Chea.
