He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Theresa Lavinia Penney; his grandson Daniel Clarke; and his siblings, Marion Isabelle Penney and Graham Penney.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Penney; his children, Michael Penney (Deborah) of Pepperell and Kathryn Clarke of Townsend; his grandchildren, Thomas Penney (Elizabeth) of Pepperell, Craig Penney (Lily) of Pepperell, Eric Clarke of Townsend and Paige Clarke (Ian Lupsiewicz) of Lowell; his great grandchildren, Emily, William, Lyla and Amelia Penney of Pepperell; his brother Russell Penney of Auburn; his sister-in-law Stella Penney of Chelmsford; and his cousins, Minnie Kirby of Peabody, Gord Penney of Ontario and Joe Penney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
