He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Charbonneau and Mildred Charbonneau (Gobin); and his siblings, Gerald Charbonneau (Pauline) of Hudson, NH and Gloria Charbonneau. He is survived by: his siblings, Roland (late Annette), Pearl, Paul, Claire Nagle (Paul) and Richard (Lucille) of Milford, NH; his wife Frances; his children, Marc, Marilyn Charbonneau of Bedford, NH, Anne (Charbonneau), James Shea of Nashua, NH, Brenda (Charbonneau), John Regan of Nashua, NH and Robert Charbonneau Jr. of Lowell Ma; and his grandchildren, Sarah Sullivan (Conor Sullivan), Mitchell Charbonneau, Olivia Bilodeau (Jared), Erica Regan, Alec Regan (Abby Hearn-Gordy), Owen Shea, Jeena Shea and Wyatt Charbonneau.
He loved bowling in the Notre Dame de Lourdes bowling league, jogging and volunteering with a group of parents, known as the Highland Players, that he would sing with during charity events for the Lowell Little League.
