He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dalton and Rita Dalton (Kelly); and his sister Michaela Hardy. He is survived by: his children, Robert P. Dalton IV, Heather Tate of Tewksbury and Elaine Eaton (Richard Eaton) of Braintree; his grandchildren, Robert P. Dalton V, Alexandra and Caroline Eaton; his siblings, Daniel Dalton (Elaine) of Chelmsford, Lesley Byrne (Mark) of Chelmsford, Joyce Dalton of Lowell and Amy Dalton of Lowell; and his brother-in-law Paul Hardy (Susan) of Lowell. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
