With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Santos Ortiz (Lowell, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Santos farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Santos is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Angel Quinones and Mariana Ortiz. He is survived by: his parents, Santos Jose Ortiz of Groton, CT and Ines Ortiz (Quinones) of Springfield, MA.; and his siblings, Anthony Quinones (Stephanie) of Lowell, Virginia Ortiz of Norwich, CT, Christina Quinones of Norwich, CT, Jennifer Ortiz of Springfield, Michael Ortiz (Chelsea) of Nashua, NH and Kathryn Ortiz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Red's Club (512 Central St, Lowell, MA 01852). A vigil service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
